Compatible with Chinese Font Systems
By default, Chinese characters in CCT6 are displayed as
bitmap pictures. These bitmap pictures (over 6,300 plus their traditional forms) are
installed with CCT6. You can alternatively view Chinese characters as a font. This
requires that you are simultaneously running a Chinese font system such as Chinese Star,
RichWin, Chinese Partner by TwinBridge, Chinese Windows by Microsoft, etc. When viewing
Chinese characters as a font, you can select any Chinese font installed on your system and
set the font size.
|

Annotations
Add your own comment, definition or sample sentence (up
to 32,000 characters) for each word in
every dictionary.
|
Add your own dictionary entry
You can add a new entry to any dictionary. You build a
new Chinese word by first finding a Chinese character and then dragging & dropping it
on one of the 10 blank cells comprising a Chinese word/phrase/sentence. To find a Chinese
character, click the "Find a Chinese Character..." button or search/browse any
of the other dictionaries. Once a Chinese character is in one of the cells, you can move
it to another cell location via drag & drop. Continue to define the new word and
specify other attributes such as parts of speech and then click the "Add New
Word" button to save the new entry to the dictionary.
|

Edit any dictionary entry
Follow the same procedures above to edit or redefine any
dictionary entry. It's easy!
